Greetings we are the San Francisco Vintage Reggae Society. We are a collective of Bay Area selectors & collectors here to showcase the original Jamaican hitsound of Ska, Rocksteady, and Early Reggae.
We have various sessions each month in San Francisco. Every Friday we throw a Happy Hour Party called Music Like Dirt held at Skylark Bar in SF from 7:30 - 10:30 featuring rare and classic Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae vinyl selections. You can also catch us at Fire Corner! At KoKo Cocktails in SF on the 1st and 3rd Saturday evenings of each month hosted by Adam & Revival Sound System. We also do a monthly night in Berkeley called Feel The Rhythm held at The Missouri Lounge on the 4th Thursday night of each month.

Gonna check out music like dirt this friday at the skylark. I dont get out to SF that much anymore whats good after the session ends at 10:30? |

Hmmmn. Ok, I'll try again. Adam said last night at the revival sound system set at the make-out room that you might be doing some sort of every other friday thing, but I guess it's still every friday, then, ay? |

Sorry about that! I had a family emergency that day, and couldn't get a substitute in time. Hope to see you again! Normally we're there every Friday from 7:30 - 10:30.

What the hell?! I was at the skylark at 9:45 last night (friday) and there was no ska or reggae! What's the deal? Did you leave early, or does this event not really exist? |

I was planning on checking out a few of your sessions this weekend but just remembered the bay bridge is shut down as of 8 pm tonight till Tuesday... Oh well now I have something to do next weekend! |
